They’ve started and stopped this in the past, I discovered. I can’t recall the state but it was briefly brought back for just months, then abandoned because parents complained about the darkness in the morning for kids off to school. It’s hard to commute in the dark too because our brains aren’t made that way.
I hate DST.

The days get longer NATURALLY so there’s no need to mess with the clocks 🕰️!!!!! I think it’s about money. They want people to go out in the brighter evenings and spend money.
Also it depends on where in the country one is. I’d like consistency and for the whole country on the same page. As much as I hate Daylight Saving time, it would be much easier staying on it than switching back-and-forth. We spend most of the year on it anyway. But I’m not saying I prefer Daylight Saving time. I just don’t like change especially back-and-forth. I have enough problems with sleep and change in general.
