This article mentions the use of anabolic steroids in women without their consent in East Germany before reunification of Germany, in order to produce sports victories for the country. You are describing possible injections of steroids without your consent by a substitute nurse practitioner who was covering for a permanent member of medical staff. What were you in treatment for? Do you know why the NP injected the substance? Was it a one time injection? Irreversible masculinizing side effects typically follow a course of injections, not a single injection. And as you said, you proceeded to have four daughters, so you were clearly a fertile woman. Can you obtain medical records to track down what that substitute nurse practitioner actually administered? And right now, can you access endocrine care? Maybe you just need estrogen.
