i thought everything was going well. baby's fever gone and he seemed to be feeling better...quite whiny and weak but to be expected for sure. also, last nite i was feeling better. yayay, it's almost over! NOT!

last nite, when the baby came home, he was coughing a deep "tight and chesty cough" (red flag), the he woke up this a.m. with fever of 102.4 again i immediately scheduled a dr's appt. i took him and dr said that he has no sign of bacterial infection, but did prescribe him something to make his breathing and cough not so tight. poor little thing. well, while rushing to take him to dr, i had to walk him up a few flights of stairs. i "blacked out" for a second and thought i was going to pass out. i got thru the dr's appt. and came home feeling like someone had sucked all of my energy out threw my feet. took temp, and mine's back! damned virus has a one-two punch! ugh ugh ugh.

hopefully we'll both be better tomorrow. my mother is keeping him for a short time this afternoon so i can nap and hubby will be home this weekend. thank God for weekend right now.

can i party my @ss off when this is COMPLETELY over (and i don't party, but i'm sure considering it)? lol.

i had to cancel t today (which i desperately needed ) as well. this has just been a SUCKY week.

but, all in all, i'm in good spirits. hahaha.
