I don't think it's unreasonable to check out someone who wants to adopt an animal, in terms of are they going to provide the animal with a suitable home and provide it with the care it needs. To me that's being responsible and sensible. By your own admission you forgot to do things, so I would understand that the owner might then question your suitability. The fact that you forgot to do things is on you, not the owner.
Either way, you stated in your last post....
....so I'm not really sure why you are seeking the opinion of others if you you know she is the problem.

I understand her reasons. However, she wanted to actually come to our house. We never had anyone ask to see our house before.
Also, she took forever just to agree to a day to see the cat. Then it took more time for her to commit to a time.
It was to much. She’s definitely way to picky. She will probably have a hard time finding someone to adopt her as she’s so picky & some people. probably won’t bother jumping through hoops to adopt her. Especially for a $125 adoption fee.
Anyways, I found a cuter torti to adopt. This other lady is way more chill.
I can’t wait to adopt my new kitten tomorrow! She’s a long haired 8 month old torti female kitten.
I want her so badly, that I’ll be driving 3 or more hours each way alone on my day off to come get her.
