I've been living in chronic pain for 17 years...

* I'm so sorry that you've had to deal with chronic pain for so long.
Did it have a negative effect on your family life ? Most people just don't want to deal with us . We're annoying to them. It hurts us so much.

I wan t you to know that you are heard, believed and understood.

It's heartbreaking that those closest to us abandon us when we need them most.

* That's even worse than the physical pain. It kinda sucks when the people closest to you for so many years just seem to be waiting for you to die. God , how it hurts....

It's also disgusting how the medical community treats us.

* I've been through the whole trip. It's hard to find a doc who really gives a ****.
$$$$$$$ is what is most important to them.

We deserve better...

* We certainly do. After all that we have contributed to the benefit of others during our lifetime.
