...Insomnia increases the odds of suicide by 5x. I now know of two meds, elavil and seroquel that can facilitate sleep over insomnia. It is important not to be burning the candle at both ends.

forestx5! My wife suffered from sleeplessness (among other stressors) prior to a major event*. The sleeplessness was due to severe pain from a bleeding ulcer. I mentioned this to the attending IP PDoc; I wonder if he took that into consideration when he considered her discharge.
