Checking in, although I’ve done no specific exercise in over a week. I’m recovering well from last weekend’s fall thankfully. My black eyes have faded quickly and with some concealer I’ve now just got a greyish tint under my eyes like I’m tired. My mouth healed well although it’s got a little scar tissue. My knees are sore but padding with dressing has helped my return to work.
My issue now is confidence, I feel nervous about the idea of running, not a great feeling with half marathon training. I feel intuitively the answer is to go out slowly for a short run. But even that has me anxious. Anyhow no hurry, I tore the knees on my running tights so going to have to source new ones before I get out there.
