Look after yourself blueberry, sometimes bed is the best place.
I’m still anxious about the idea of running, I keep getting flashbacks of the fall almost two weeks ago now. My skin is healing, but mentally I’m not quite there.
Anyhow inspired by blueberries power walks (and Tart Cherry’s steps!) I took myself on a walk this morning, it was bright and sunny which helped my motivation.
I had bought some cheap Nikes and wore them on my fateful run, I had already decided they weren’t much good for running as the forefoot wasn’t padded enough, whether they contributed to my fall I don’t know. However they are great as a pair of walking shoes - and if anyone ever needs to know this, baking soda gets blood off running shoes!
Fitness wise I’ve got a lot of work to do but mentally the walk boosted my mood.
