Just be aware that there is such a thing as too much fluid intake. Celebrity, Brook Shields, found that out when she collapsed due to excessive water intake. It had diluted her electrolytes to a dangerously low level. All you have to do is observe urine color. If it is light yellow, you're properly hydrated. If it is almost clear, you are over-hydrated.
Being over-hydrated can increases the workload on the heart. It can cause fluid backup in the lungs. It can dilute stomach acid, making digestion slower and less efficient. It can dilute the blood, leading to the blood having inadequate levels of sodium (hyponatremia) and lowered relative levels of other electrolytes. That can cause collapse or convulsions.
Water is not the only thing that will hydrate you. All fluids due that. You just want to avoid sugary drinks. Sometimes a glass of milk is a better choice than a glass of water.
