I have no experience with EMDR or any other specific trauma-related therapy techniques.
It may seem that the therapist is more involved with such methods, as they somewhat have to coach the client through the process.
It would be unprofessional for a therapist to consider whether a client is worthy of therapy, in my opinion. None of us can offer any insight into what your therapist is thinking, as we don't know her.
It's OK to use therapy as a container for aspects of your life that are hard to talk about with anyone else.
