StarPonysMama,
It doesn't deal specifically with lying but one book that I've found incredibly helpful is "A Womans Way through the 12 Steps" and the accompanying workbook by Stephanie Covington. I think I ordered it on-line from Hazelden. It stays true to the 12 steps, but looks at them from a woman's perspective and has suggestions for self soothing exercises after each step. I worked through the workbook's Steps 1-3 last summer when I was in the hospital and I found it incredibly helpful and healing. I'm using it now as an aid in doing my 4'th step.
Another book I really like - again from Hazelden is "First year sobriety" - sorry I don't remember the author, but it's full of short anecdotal stories about peoples experiences in early recovery. I've found that it helps me feel better about the ups and downs that I'm experiencing in my own recovery.
