I have walked 9.4 miles today.
Partly so much due to being afraid to drive after yesterday's scare feeling dystonia in my limbs while driving. So I had an appointment today to get an In Body Scan where they measure body composition. I took a Lyft there and the train back. Walking to the train station from the clinic and, a shorter walk, from my train station to my apartment added a lot of steps. Then I did laundry, so walking to and from the laundry room and I side my apartment hanging dry and putting away folded clothes added more. So far I am having fun with it
I had a somewhat disappointing personal training session in that I was unusually dizzy and could not lift the weights I normally lift easily. The trainer thinks it is due to side effects from the new medication. I was discouraged at first, because I like that I eat less on Thorazine and want to stick to it. Then I recalled that in the second half of 2022 and first quarter of 2023 I was on Thorazine and was able to lift weights. I was with a different trainer then; she has since moved to Utah. So I think what I had today is either from taking more Thorazine than I should or mixing it with Seroquel or both. I will discuss with the pdoc tomorrow.
Since we could not fill the hour with strength exercises, I suggested stretching and the trainer found my crazily flexible, which was pleasant to hear.
I then came home, did the laundry and ate, the first full meal for today:
A smoothie with frozen blackberries, raspberries and overripe banana, milked almonds, plain kefir, plain Greek yogurt, and chia seeds, and vanilla extract. Yum! Saved a cup for later, too. I was unusually creative with this smoothie recipe thanks to the inspiration from this thread! Also ate a sandwich: ***** rye bread, Provolone cheese, gem lettuce 🥬 from Trader Joe's, and had a cup of weak black tea with a teaspoon of honey from Trader Joe's. Yum!
