@Discombobulated I'm so glad you can report that to the council AND that they actually take action on it promptly. Here, you report sidewalk issues to the city and yeah, pretty much nothing gets done. Walking on the sidewalk is a pain because you are off and on it because stupid people park their cars blocking the sidewalk all the time, so it's switching between the sidewalk and the road, watching out for traffic. Cars are not supposed to park blocking the sidewalk but the HOA who complains about every single little petty issue you may have going on just completely doesn't care about this at all. This area really is not friendly to walkers at all. I can't walk to any place of business other than a small drugstore (with sidewalks starting and stopping along the way), it's geared solely for cars (public transportation is non-existent and riding your bike anywhere you are just asking to be hit by a car.)
