I mostly use just olive oil for frying except sometimes I also use avocado oil. And mostly season with just salt and pepper. One of my favorite soups is split pea soup. Luckily, it is my son's favorite, too, so I often cook it for him when he flies in. When his girlfriend visited in 2023, she said she liked it too, but I am not sure whether she was sincere or just polite.

If your family eats cooked cabbage, I can post my recipe for cabbage and beef soup that can be cooked with just salt and pepper. It is very filling and you cook once for several days' worth of food
Yes, I see my PCP in May sometime; I'll let her know. But sometimes, H says he feels this way too and we think it's in large part from the chemicals. But I'll let the doctor know. Hopefully, tomorrow, I'll feel better breathing wise. It's a LOT better than it was this morning because I think I was also flat out starting to panic a bit which didn't help anything.

I'd be interested in your cabbage & beef soup recipe. My family does thankfully like cabbage.
