Discombobulated Thanks for the compliments on the eye sketch. I have a thread with all my sketches (some better than others) in the Creative Corner Forum. Lately, I've been toying with watercolors, which I can honestly say I have not used since I was 5 or 6 years old. I painted a decent watermelon today, impressed myself a bit actually because that is only my 4th watercolor painting, and I'm still learning how watercolors behave. I still draw daily too; eyes though have to be my absolutely most favorite thing to draw! Lately, I've been on a cat drawing kick. I actually only recently got back into drawing around the end of last November; I hadn't drawn since I was 18 or 19 years old! My mood really did a 180 after I started using the SAD lamp, which I was highly skeptical of but finally tried as a last resort and suddenly I had the urge to draw again even though I hadn't drawn in 20 years.

Tart Cherry Jam You are doing such a great job with your workouts. Now that it's hot outside, I really wish I belonged to a gym!
I did my usual 7 mi walk this morning, hot and humid, not quite as hard as yesteray's walk, but I was quite sweaty by the time I got in. Nothing like exercising outdoors in weather in southeast Texas most of the year! Did a couple 1 min. forearm planks, still reluctant to do high plank or side plank because while my wrist is healing certain things still get to it. For example, last night I was carrying 2 full soup bowls, one in each hand to set out for dinner, usually no problem, but still, I can't do it with my left hand. Well, those bowls are heavier china than my normal plates and bowls but still they are not THAT heavy. Apparently, a sprained wrist can take 2-10 weeks to heal. It's been around 3 weeks for me maybe a month, so I'm not in the 2 week range unfortunately. Hopefully it won't take 10 weeks; the thing I have to be careful of is overdoing it with that wrist so I don't hamper the healing.
