This isn't about wasps, but did you see the news story about the killer bees killing three horses? The owner saw the horses behaving oddly and went to check on them. She pulled on a heavy jacket to try and save the horses. All three ended up dead. Their faces and nostrils were so swollen from the stings they couldn't breath. The lady also got attacked on her head and hands.
The whole thing sounds like a nightmare to me. I'm allergic to be stings so the idea of a swarm of killer bees gives me the heebiejeebies sit here in my living room. I don't know if I would be able to wade in to protect my horses. On the other hand I probably would.
Back in the day, wasn't there a horror movie about killer bees?
