My appetite is still awful. I'll feel hungry, but just the thought of eating most things makes me nauseous and mentally feels like to much. I bought some smoothie supplies thinking drinking some calories might be easier, but even the thought of that made me nauseous today. If a bad appetite get's bad enough, I suppose I'll have to measure my pdoc and see if there is truly nothing else he can do to help my depression.

A fun thing from today is I ran into a family from my school after Mass today (I don't go to the church connected to my school so it was a surprise to see them). One of their kids is one I currently teach. I also taught two of her brothers, one of whom is already finishing up his junior year. They are very sweet kids-it was fun to hear a little bit about how the junior is doing.

Yeah, I can relate.

Possible trigger:

My desire for food went way down during the past 6 months. I slowly stopped eating things I like, then simply stopped other things one by one. I completely stopped eating a couple of weeks ago, but that turned out really badly.

I understand how it feels bad to eat. But we are physical beings, and our bodies are doing their best to support us.

Try to get a little protein, something salty, and maybe some juice or something like Gatorade. Try to get 400-600 calories a day if you can, it makes a big difference. You'll have fewer physical worries, which can make the mental issues much worse
