Yesterday, I alternated preparing Google Slices for a presentation at work and sweeping the floors/tidying up during break. I rather liked both the process and the results, in both spheres (work and keeping my little household). I plan to do more of this to see whether it can be made into a long-term habit.

This alternating of computer work with physical activity is something I need to start doing. I sit staring at the screen for hours, legs tensed up (sometimes squeezed together because I need to pee) and I tell myself that I'll get up right after I figure out how to get a certain bit of code to work. Dozens of minutes go by.... And you'd think I'd learn to relax a bit when I lost my job! LOL
