I am probably the most graceful klutz ever (lol....giving credit to my years of ballroom dance lessons). When I lived in Calif & was doing night feeding at the ranch, I was always tripping ovef railroad ties in the parking area in the dark.
I think my most graceful trip was in my home here in Ky. I got hungry at 3am so went downstairs to get a snack. Came around the corner into my entry hall & tripped over a box I knew was there. Did a belly flop on my new plush entry rug I had just bought & managed to keep the food on my plate. I was laughing so hard at myself I had a hard time getting up. No damage but yes, the next day there were places in my body that hurt.
Yea, even at 72 I haven't given up riding but now just do trails using friends safe gaited horses. I do hold my breath on some of the steep rocky trails though. Most of my real injuries have come from racquetball or horses.....so I do understand
