I've read nearly all her books, especially her novels. Yes, she's dead. My father was born in 1912 too so it was interesting to me, reading her books, to get a glimpse into his "world" growing up.

I have her collected poems, some of which changed my life. Her novels, A Small Room and Joanna and Ulysses did too. She was one of my influences in the 1970's/early 80's that got me going in the right direction.
