Is this the woman you were going to meet in person? Or the one that canceled on you but didn’t agree to reschedule?
This reminds me of an online friend that I thought could become a real life friend. This member was near my age, had the same personality type and lived in the same region. A lot in common and many messages, for about a year. They then said they might leave the site but I said we could still message outside of the site. I didn’t get a reply on that, then a few days later they said they had computer problems. That’s certainly possible so I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
Later that week I saw the account was deleted! It took me about a month to process that.
I thought I made a real friend. It’s been decades since I had a close real life friend. I agree with the theory that these people have issues, not us. Still it hurts.
