@ Crazy Hitch - Sometimes you have to enjoy yourself with food and indulge. If you don't, you just feel deprived and are more likely to binge eat junk. Anyway, I do eat food I enjoy and healthy foods I enjoy rather than healthy foods I don't enjoy or that leave me feeling deprived. Of course, I exercise a lot so I can eat quite a few more calories than the average woman my age.
@ Discombobulated - I don't know if it was the pace that let me jog without hip pain or possibly better shoes as I got new Sketchers with much more cushioning than I'm used to not that long ago (maybe around a month ago?). At any rate I'm not complaining.
I barely made it in from my 7.5 mi power walk/jog. I jogged some in the beginning then more and more towards the end because it started raining then pouring. I more or less sprinted (well for me as my running speed it slow, it's probably a slow run for most runners) home the last 0.5 mi and was absolutely soaked when I got in! We have been getting quite a lot of rain lately.
