I agree with the one time volunteer things. There’s a lot of those around here. Like sign up for a day of volunteering at an event or a place that serves meals to the community. There’s a place near here I’ve volunteered a couple times serving food to the community. You sign up for a single shift ahead of time and then go in and do it. And can sign up for more shifts whenever you want. It’s a little easier than committing to a volunteer job with a regular schedule. I think it’d be good to start with that for awhile then once you get comfortable with that then think about a more long term regular volunteer job with regular shifts. Then eventually go back to work if you feel up to it someday. But don’t push yourself too hard. Take small steps slowly over time
