Start very small. I was for years trapped in a cycle of treatment that I now realize hurt as much as it helped. Not saying that's what you're going through; I can't know that. It took me years to work my way back into society. You can do it. I also don't know what you're being told to do or why. I don't know what programs you're in but if you're in them (i.e. choosing to be there) try to get from it everything you possibly can (not taking money from family but learning skills for living while you are/ can be there). If you need your family's help and they're willing to help you, take the help BUT have a plan to (at least try to) pay it back. Do what you can to take control of your own life. In my experience - and that is the only perspective, however limited, I can speak from - accountability and responsibility for my own life is the biggest healing factor in terms of mental health. No idea if you are working or able to, but if that's a possibility and you haven't been able to do so yet, I highly recommend reaching out for possibilities of employment. That was the number one thing that helped me claw control back over my own life.
