Yeah, it is. Especially now that they have to hire more people to make sure people aren't shop lifting at self-checkout instead and checking IDs when people try to buy alcohol and stuff. Last time I went I accidentally forgot to scan something that was at the bottom of my carriage and the alarm went off and the dude checked my receipts and everything and I'm like "ohh, shyt, I forgot I put the lotion in there, it was hidden at the bottom and I didn't scan it," and he straight up told me "that wouldn't set off the alarm," like, okay, I can get away with shoplifting lotion, that's good info to have... (but I did pay for everything else I have no clue why it went off).

(I did put the lotion back btw, I'm not a thief when I'm not bulimic)

I'm also going to say, in NH, any Walmart right off a highway or right on the border of MA is always going to be insane. If you look at a map there's a Walmart right on the borders in Salem and Hudson, I have been to both of these places (actually had a one night stand with a guy that lived right next to the Salem Walmart and found out many employees there cannot speak English. In NEW HAMPSHIRE! I regress though), and they are fking nightmares. There's one in Manchester (about 30 min from the border depending on traffic and which highway you take and how much construction is going on. If you take the Everett right now it'll be like 2 hours because they're doing stupid fking construction where it's two lanes and they have the right lane blocked for a few exits and then the left lane so everyone has to merge twice to one lane for a highway busy enough to warrant being at least 3 lanes, esp if you consider holidays weekends in summer when everyone from the South wants to go camping up north). Anyway, Manch Vegas Wallie isn't as crowded--at least the times I've gone, but half the people there are clearly incredibly high and I do not mean just on weed and just wandering around. Manch's mall has needle deposit boxes at the malls in the bathrooms, and they're not intended for diabetics, if that says anything about the city.

Berlin, Littleton, NH Walmarts? Hardly a crowd problem there ever unless it's like a sunny 4th of July weekend. There's one in Gilford (Lakes Region, so not really "north" unless you're from Boston) I used to go to and their cashiers are better than by the border, but now they have the same thing they never have more than two registers open. There are Dollar Generals like crazy everywhere once you get north of Concord so those are where I get things I need if they can be found there. They also have been giving out coupons a lot lately.

"What, are you crazy?"
"It's a possibility I haven't ruled out yet,"
