@ Blueberrybook I’m just focusing on getting the miles in, no speed work at all these days (I used to years ago when I was in a running club but I found it stripped the joy for me). Finish lines not finish times is my mantra.

Recovery runs DO help because they circulate lactic acid that built up during a harder day, so you're not going to feel sore and fatigued as long (again, 'twas at least the 10-15 year ago theory).
