You're not silly, you need to help yourself first, we understand. Are you seeing a counselor? They can help you with things that are bothering you, and dig out things from your past that maybe causing you pain. Depression is a illness and has to go into remission before you can feel better. But I'm so sorry for you pain and wish you happiness, and may the dark clouds break and bring bright sunshine.
