Disco,
I am sorry your friend is suffering, too. It is indeed a life impinging condition, even though it is not exactly painful (and I am thankful for that). Not painful but very limiting. My episode yesterday lasted for 9 hours. I also had an episode on Friday with double vision, for the first time in my life, and the neurologist confirmed that double vision can be a manifestation of migraine. He gave me tips for how to check for whether it is a migraine next time, should it happen again.
Today I felt much better.
15 mins warm-up on the recumbent elliptical with leg press
Personal training session
21 minutes on the recumbent bike, on a ride as if through a scenic route in Maine.
I plan to do more, leveraging the fact that I feel OK today. Since some of my days are occupied by those episodes, I feel like making the most of my well days. So I will either cook while wearing my weighted vest or go for a walk wearing it. And hope for a good day tomorrow, too.
