Blueberrybook that sounds very tough conditions to exercise in. I know what you mean about breeze helping. I complain about the wind on this coast but I’d rather have it than not at all. The public toilets aren’t open early here either and so for my longer run I do two 10k loops past my house just in case of toilet emergencies! It rarely happens but I was glad of it yesterday. The things you find yourself doing as a runner!
Short slow 30 mins recovery run, felt fine. Be interesting to see if I crash this afternoon like I have day after last two long runs. Yesterday afternoon I was very sedentary, sat in nice cool cinema watching Superman and eating sweets! Kept flexing my ankles and doing ankle circles though so I didn’t seize up.
