I am on vacation. I'm at the airport, about to leave for the United States. I have arrived over 4 hours before my flight. I hope to relax in visiting the state of Texas, which I lived in when I was a child but haven't been back to in over 20 years. I'm a little apprehensive, but eager. I've rented an Airbnb very close to my dad's old house, and I plan on driving past my old high school. I've brought four books to read, which is ridiculous because my trip is only 9 days long.
