Unfortunately, I think a lot of us experience some of the nausea related side effects of most psychological drugs. It does feel absolutely horrid.

Have you told your doctor about this? What I'd suggest, perhaps try Gravol (anti-nauseant), which could help. Generally side effects (like this one anyway) go away after a week or so.

Are these your first prescription psych drugs? They definitely take some getting used to.

You didn't mention, are you taking the Zoloft at night or when you wake up? If you're taking it first thing in the morning, I'd suggest trying to take it before bed, potentially with a Gravol (if needed) and then you could sleep through a good amount of the nausea.

In the mean time, perhaps trying to eat something starchy, or a carbohydrate. Like when you're sick, sometimes gingerale and crackers are good.

Beyond that, if the side effects don't get any better a week or so ... phone your doctor. They might not be the best meds for you, or could somehow be interacting in your body (some people are very sensitive to meds, even at low doses).

I'm not a doctor, but I did some research that DocJohn (person who created this site) has above under "Drugs" if you need more information.
