wantto, by today's standards, a willow switch would be considered abuse. As far as I know, anything but the bare hand for a spanking is abuse these days. But a belt or switch wasn't uncommon when I was a kid which wasn't all that long ago. The switch was for when I had done something exceptionally bad... like painting dirty words on the garage floor. And Kathy, I am terribly sorry you are having to go through this. It's not right for someone with your level of kindness to have to feel this way. I pray that you will soon be able to find peace.
