healthyhopes, I take several meds too--abilify, wellbutrin, lamictal and dexedrine. I think they help each other work. Just one med does not seem to do the trick for me. I don't think anybody really knows what the long term effects of these meds are going to be. One way I look at it is that without them I am severely depressed and anxious. Depression and anxiety left untreated can be detrimental to your health. If you are concerned, maybe you should chat with your doctor about it. Welcome to PsychCentral!
