the idea of fault imo is man-made.. Spirit knows that we each are students of lifes lessons and Spirit has faith and patience we will come to understand in time if we attempt to find truth on our paths... what fault or blame is there when a child learns for the first time that hitting others is wrong? fault and blame could questionably be applied following subsequent acts of unkindness however, in some cases i feel that more harm than good comes from fault-finding...
Spirit teaches that we are to be forgiven for wrong acts if we truly attempt reparations and strive to not repeat harmful acts... those who do not learn the lessons of Spirit recieve their just rewards imo
thank you for adding your thoughts recluse, i agree that if there is no fault, there is nothing to forgive...
in direct reference to my own situation regarding 'the accident' that changed peoples lives forever, adding blame or fault only compounds any guilt feelings that may already be present and further complicates healing for myself and my mom... since both our lives are moving on and a mistake of the past still impedes a fulfilling relationship with each other, i see no need for blame or fault finding.. it carries more burden than benefit.. put another way, i dont have time for the resentment...
