For about 3 yrs in a row I got it like every 6 months on my tummy where my hysterectomy incision is. It had no open wounds there. So yes it can happen. Please get yourself to a doctor ASAP. As you know this is nothing to mess around with!! I'm so sorry your going thru this! Its definitely scarey. I hope everything turns out ok. Here to support you.
