I'm so sorry you've had such a rough time with your relationship.

For me, I think that love is a choice. There are people I'm attracted to, but I think that kind of stuff comes and goes based on people's reactions. With love, in my opinion, the person's actions can be mean, horrid, etc, but I can still love the person. But I think a big key is to find out first if that person is a safe person.

But that's just my opinion and I'm pretty dysfunctional so what do I know.

I don't think you're whining though. It hurts regardless and I'm so sorry you were hurt. Please keep posting. We'd all like to support you.
