Oh, welcome to Kentucky (versus California :-) We're having a good summer here in Maryland, not even many mosquitoes (yet). I've had enough carpenter bees and mud wasps though. The mud wasps have been inside the house/doors and I'm still afraid of them even though they don't sting; I still call my DH to come get them for me :-) Luckily they're usually still on the screen door trying to find their way out instead of coming further inside.
