I tried Strattera but only for 1 month, not long enough to see the effects. I did not notice any change in my ADHD symptoms. The research I found on this medication is not has promising as it is for the stimulants. However, stimulants have been around a lot longer. I would keep reading, keep questioning your doctor, and keep monitoring your son's symptoms. In the end the choice of medication and dosage will likely take a lot of trial an error.
