i'm sorry to hear about your grandma. there have been lots of advances in cancer research and treatment. hopefully she'll be fine!

i just lost my gran. but she was 82 and her body just gave out. i was able to spend more time with her during her last couple months. and i'm glad i had that opportunity.

with you being quite young and probably unable to get to her for a visit on your own, perhaps you could start sending weekly cards and letters. i'm sure your grandma is scared too. and hearing from you might cheer her up!!
