It does make sense, Rainbowzz, and thank you for giving such careful thought to this topic.
I must admit, I've been in the "idiot compassion" place more times than I care to recount. I had to learn to discern, which is a kind of spiritual gift in itself.

As for clairvoyants, I think Edgar Cayce was a true psychic and clairvoyant. I've done a lot of reading about him, and it is said when he did a reading, it drained him. Do any of you here know of him, his life?

As for me, I've often felt drawn to the life of a nun, cloistered away in a small, sparely furnished room where I could pray and meditate. If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I think maybe I WAS a nun or a monk in a past life. As I grow older, I am less and less attached to material things, seeing that it is just "dust."
