I have never heard of Catapres for ADHD, but I'll look it up to satisfy my curiosity.

That is a really good idea about the drawing and writing part. I don't know why I forgot, but my mother used to sit me down to draw whenever I acted out like your son did, and it worked pretty well most of the time.
Yay for the earlier appointment. I hope it all works out okay, and hopefully your fears will be at least partly unfounded!!!
