It's not surprising that many people don't know how cute rats can be. Most people think "sewer rat" ... but those are a different variety of rat altogether. These are called "fancy rats".

Not too many people own rats, but apparently the people who own them can own quite a few at a time! I'm going to keep it to only two for a few years though.

Unfortunately they don't live long, usually only 2 years.

I'm glad that people like my pictures. Miles says hello (he's the energetic older one) and Allan gives kisses (he literally licks my hand, kinda like a dog... he's going to be a good "lap rat") hehe.
