Sometimes when people get drunk they do really stupid things and say even stupider things. I don't know if he really meant what he said, but you can talk to him about it when he's sober and not hung over (which I am sure he is/will be).

I said and did a lot of things I didn't mean when I was drunk (that's why I don't drink anymore), but there were also times where I was more honest to people....depends on him.

Does he drink like this a lot? Maybe he has a problem and he needs help from a professional? In no way am I trying to justify what he did, I am just thinking he might need help.

You do NOT deserve to be treated that way at all, no matter if the person is drunk or not....it's abusive. I would even tell him that he needs to get you a new purse! The same one you had!

If it were me and my BF, I would tell him exactly what happened and how you feel about it. I would not ever put up with that again. I would tell him that if he ever did that again, I would leave.
