My T has a no contact between sessions policy, that she spelt out very clearly when I first started with her. So if I'm desparate, I rely on distress lines.
My addictions Dr. and nurses on the other hand say that if I'm in trouble and thinking aobut drinking to definitely call in. Odds are I'll get their voice mail, but they've said they''ll call back.
