I agree with the posters above as well. You deserved a better attitude and sponsor or crisis hotline worker more trained in PTSD. Most hotlines are not always appropriately trained. When you feel better, I would suggest talking to one of the workers or the superviser to let them know that consumers with PTSD need more help then they can provide. there are numerous courses in the United States that can be taken for free for hotline workers that are underprovisioned in PTSD and other disorders such as Bipolar and Depression as well.
