So this might not work for everyone, but here's my little experience with the evil scale.
My Mom threw my bathroom one away a few years ago when I was still in high school. I was SO MAD at first.
Then I got used to it. I never knew what I weighed from age 17 to this past year in college (YUP, 2 years!) When I went to the health center for BC pills. I'd put on about 25 (MUCH NEEDED) pounds last summer. When she told me my weight I was like OH CRAP--and freaked out.
Everytime I go to the doctor, I ask to be weighed backwards. I don't even look at the numbers. I go by how my clothes fit and what I see in the mirror. Scales are so freaking mean and evil and should only be allowed to age 7...because after that, they're just depressing
