Unfortunately all sorts of "self destructive behaviour" like SI and eating disorders can have the same causes, and one can come after another ... or you can switch. That's what I've done, I used to control my SI and now that I'm "free" of self-injury for over a year... my eating control patterns go all weird. Not fun, but its normal.

Have you talked to anyone about this? It's best to try to control the behaviour sooner rather than later, otherwise it can become an addiction which is harder to control.
