If you don't feel like talking then don't. Just go and sit and breathe.

Don't despair. Your Mom cares, otherwise she wouldn't have signed you up for therapy--so she is at least trying. Maybe you can catch her at a good moment and speak to her about this situation. You know, timing is everything. Don't pick the moment when she is exhausted because she just got home from work. Wait for the perfect moment, maybe a weekend morning? Just make her a cup of tea, and act really mature and tell her you need to talk to her and get her advice. Then tell her how you really feel about this therapist and that you can't communicate with him. Try to speak with her without falling apart in tears.

Maybe you can offer to help your mother pay the therapist's bill or otherwise cut down the cost. Can you call the other therapist and see if she will see you at a reduced rate? Many T's will do this. Can you make some money babysitting or doing yard work to help pay the bill? Maybe you can barter the fee with her?

Take teeny, tiny baby steps. Don't worry too much about the future. Take each moment as it comes.

Good luck and peace to you.
