Obsessive thoughts can be symptoms of an obsessive-compulsive disorder. So can worrying about a diagnosis!

Doctors use medications like Risperdal for many disorders, not just psychosis or other things for which they are primarily prescribed. So prescribing it for you does not necessarily mean the doctor thinks you are psychotic. These diagnoses are not very definitive, I think. Your problems may overlap several categories.
