It's not very realistic in its timing or that the children are not the couples own and that they're not real couples, etc. Hard to get to know another "person"/child and their needs, likes, dislikes, personality, etc. in 3 days and suddenly getting an older child/pre-teen without the intervening years of "experience" with that child doesn't make sense. It's entertainment perhaps but not a "reality" show if you ask me.
